in less then 3hrs the window for switching jobs in knight for the upcoming season will conclude. d3 coaches are leaving in a mass exodus for d2. 4 A+ prestige d3 teams are currently vacant with another 8 or so A- and B+ teams lacking in a coach. if you've ever wanted to join knight and get your hands on a great team, this could be the moment you've been waiting for.

I don't know if it can be saved...look at all those empty conferences. If you want to pick up an A+ prestige school with no human competition in conference and win a lot of games though, this seems to be a great time to do so.

ETA: part of me wants to do just that though - look at that Lawrence team...

Leaving Lawrence was rough. I hate how they scaled back the reward points at D3. Makes it really difficult to not move up.

d3 knight is officially dead

I went to sign up for D3 and got my teams mixed up and ended up in D2 in Knight.

Wow, just looked through all the conferences, and there are 8 conferences with either 0 or 1 user and 6-8 more with just 2 users, as opposed to just 2 conferences with 6+ users. At least my conference is the most full conference in all of Knight D3 with 9 users.

I built that team! Specifically, I recruited the players that won the first NT - if you look at Lawrence's all-time points leaders, I recruited #2 Lane, #4 Ramage, #5 Behler, and #11 Erickson; as well as #9 assist man Moore and #15 Fenstermacher... all in my one FreeHD year. So that's three players recruited in the same year (with no walkons taken) who would each eventually score more than 1000 points in their careers.

No cornfused. No alumni connections. I just took over the first Lawrence after my friend gbous was the coach and when I noticed that Lawrence in Phelan was struggling I decided to see if I could make them great. Not working out so far, but we will see how it goes.
