Better coaching vs promoting too quickly Topic

I just drafted 2 pitchers that I expect to impact my ML team at some point. Both out of college so they are decent now (not ML ready but not 45 overall either). My RL PItching Coach has a 48 rating, and my HiA pitching coach a 78 rating.

Where would you start them? Can promoting too quickly be negative?

HiA, AA, AAA then on the 40 and to the bigs. Natural progression.

no doubt.

Can be a negative if they plateau. They'll probably be fine out of college since they'll plateau earlier on their own.

How will they plateau if they play one season at three levels before going to the bigs?

I think the general consensus is to start them at the level where they will have the best coach and will play. It is sitting on the bench that will dampen their growth if you start them too high. Riding the pine under a better coach is generally believed not to be worth it. This is one time where the general consensus is probably pretty darn close to correct.
