DL as an inactive list Topic

What are people's opinions about people using the DL as an inactive list in the bigs? There is an owner in one of my worlds that has these 2 players on the DL long after they recovered:

MLB teams use it that way all the time. Need to make space on the roster for that hot young CF? Big League #5 OF out of options, and you don't want to waive him? DL him with a hangnail or the flu or "tired arm" or whatever.

i use it in the minors when i have a full roster (like 38/38 in aaa) that way i can hang on to as many minor leaguers as i can and not have fatigue provlems in the future. i wouldn't do this for a genuine prospect but if i have a nothing guy sittin on the dl for forever then whatever.

No problem with it. Sometimes you don't have roster spot after an injury call-up. Leave him on the DL until something opens up.

Coles' ratings are in freefall. It looks like it's not a good strategy for guys with low makeup ratings.

I may be wrong, but the injuries show that they have days until they recover...If they are fully recovered and sitting idle on the DL, there will be a negative (-) sign in front of the days remaining on the DL. These guys have positive days .

Yeah I saw that too Yoker, but if you actually go into the world he is in, the DL status is updated.
