What criteria do you guys use to determine if you should run half-court / fast-break / slow down ?

What about normal verus press defense ?

I always run uptempo unless i have a lot of turnovers. Uptempo has a big positive effect on fg%. Press only as a last option imo.

If I paid for a (or won a free) team, I run up-tempo. That's my criteria.

I always do terrible pressing, so I tend to not mess with it unless my opponent has an extreme amount of TOs and has a low efg%.
