x. If i understood correctly.

I always run 3 deep this way and can get some interesting minutes played.

Avg minutes usually end up like 22, 12, 6.

Keep in mind these are averages and a lot of games will be VERY different. If it's a close game the starter will play more. If it's a blowout the starter will play less. Being yanked for foul trouble affects it. Oh, and if the 3rd guy is not a freshman he will often complain about minutes.

The most extreme I've ever seen happened to me this season. My starter played only 9 minutes in a game due to a combination of early foul trouble that turned into a blowout.

i run the FB / Prss combo at Tark Temple and this is what I observed when using "fairly fresh".

Ok, another question, my game last night had my SF and SG switched, even though the depth chart never has these two playing another position.

thoughts?

Yeah, I've had that happen to me. It's always been when the game is out of reach so I didn't care. Hopefully the same applies to your game but I do not know the real answer. And regardless of the reason it's a bummer when trying to give guys minutes.

I have a question. How deep do you usually go at any given position? 2 Deep, 3 deep, or do people even go 4 deep. I have several players that can play multiple positions and was wondering if it is better to have only 2-3 deep or if going 4 deep can work.

I always go 4 deep except when injuries prevent it. I feel that I have a better chance of deciding who plays where than taking pot luck from the sim engine. I normally set my starting and backup PGs to the 3 and 4 positions on the SG chart and visa versa. I do the same thing with PF and C. SF is usually a mix of a PF and a SG at the 3 and 4 spots. If I have ride-the-bench freshmen, I will put them at the 4 spot and bump the backup that I moved over up to the 3 spot.
