Advice for All! When signing a JR... Topic

Whenever you are signing a JR, it is ALWAYS to your advantage to promise him 10 minutes no matter what. Every JR at every level will expect 12+ minutes of playing time or will lose WE points/transfer if you do not give him the minutes. BUT if you promise him 10 minutes he will be happy as hell with only getting 10 minutes.

Does not make any sense rationally, but I thought I would share this [s]flaw[/s] feature with all of you.

DAMNITT! I cannot figure out how to strikethrough text on here. I have tried everything. I give up. Just picture the first post with the word "flaw" having a line through it.

No, even if you prmise 10 he will want to get his normal 12+. The only difference is if he gets 10 MPG and transfers it wont hurt your rep.

I have never seen that to be true mully. In every situation that I have promised a JR 10 minutes, he has never complained about only getting 10. I would love for someone to show me different, but after my conversations with CS I am 99% sure that the scenario I laid out in post #1 is always the case. Sadly.

Me and the CS goons went back and forth over this matter late last year. I highly doubt that anything has changed, but if anyone wants to prove me wrong I will have my crow deep fried please.

The whole point of this thread is not how much 10 guaranteed minutes are worth, but how it is better to promise 10 then none at all on a JR recruit.

As just a guess though, I would say that 10 minutes are worth a HV, 25 minutes a CV, and a promised start a HV. Just throwing a dart at the board.
