no way. no way it would be more cutthroat than D1.
first of all, when you look at the non-drop-pullers, there is not the wide differentiation like you get with D1 recruits.
second of all, you gotta agree that 90% of newbies have no idea what a dropdown or pulldown is (heck, that number is probably low).
how can it be to their advantage to let the top10 percent of coaches in their world have access to these players that are probably a good 10% better than anyone they can possibly recruit?
