Obviously odd, but has anyone ever seen it before?

Hell, I might not start him next year!

Impressive.

My personal favourite is a player winning defensive player of the year 3 times while having a defensive rating in the single digits! He was a 99 shot blocker and I played the press, so he averaged over 1.5 steals and blocks per game every season.

BTW, not to knock your guy, because he is a very good player, but how are those numbers player of the year? That must be a defence-first conference :)

has more to do w/ the player being one of the top stat kids on a dominant team in a sim ravage conference where the backups probably play a majority of game more often than not as they simmies are pounded into submission.

More love is given to the top teams in the conference awards rather than just giving it away purely based upon stats.

None, taken. I was shocked the first year. A little less so this year, but thought it might be coming because of the similar stats.

My guess is that it's because I went 16-0 last year and 15-1 this year, and there hasn't really been any standouts.

He's only 16th in points, 16th in rebounds, 8th in blocks, and 3rd in FG %. He was probably worse last year.

Short answer, I have no idea.

Could be, but there are five humans (sixth best overall conference) and he only plays 21 minutes a game.

I do think you're right, though, that has a lot to do with it.

bing had a 2 or 3 time National POY who was a backup for at least 2 of those seasons in Tark a few seasons back. His name was Edward Hedin, methinks.

I had a second team all conference who was a backup who scored like 2 points a game last year in d3. he was just a 15 min a game backup who averaged like 2 points and 8 boards or something, i was shocked when he got it over my starter.

really random and weird, but yea i won a bunch of games in the conference.
