So if you manage to get WIS to make a change so that SS's who are below the "average" make less errors should I start a thread called Screwing good fielding teams?

I encourage anyone who has what they consider to be a legitimate complaint to voice it in the forums..That is what they are for.

When our founding Fathers were creating our great nation, they all envisioned monthly meetings were all the men of a community would gather and discuss issues impacting their collective lives.

The Internet made this easier, and this is our "Family" Town Hall!

Even you have to admit Palin got screwed by the media. Nothing about her treatment was fair.

A lot of it probably wasn't fair, but you can't deny that she walked into a lot of the scrutiny herself.

And on your other point, Obama was a teacher of constitutional law...I think that's sufficient justification to say that he knows a little bit about how the Federal government works and knows a little policy. You can't use the analogy of the lawyer in the mall.

Madison would roll in his grave if he knew the liberties taken by "teachers of constitutional law" - he would probably conclude the constitution had been re-written. And he would be partially correct.

As to Palin, she is a good example of the Republicans need for self inflicted wounds. But one could say the same about Pelosi, Reed, and even (esp?) Obama. In the long run being hard right or hard may get you nominated, and even elected, but it will not cut it with the broad middle in the long run. Which is why Obama and the Dems are increasingly in trouble and their only hope is the Republicans are even dumber than they are. Which they may be.

Plus, he's a lawyer from the best law school at the nation which he ran, so he understands how to structure policy.

I don't think running a state of 1000 people (995 men) after going to beauty pageants really makes her qualified to even mouthbreathe.

And there's a valid concern about her qualifications because the right murdered Obama for his, then brought their own in. Plus, as we all know, McCain is old as s. And there's no way I want another psychopathic, moronic, extreme right winger attempting to make policy and show off weapons to the rest of the world.

CLOSED.

CLOSED...What do you think this is, a global warming debate??

She ran a state, the Alskan Energy Commission and a City. Obama never ran the School.

And in your opinion being a lawyer gives you policy structure knowledge?? Next time we have a mid-east problem we can consult that guy in the Mall.

You supported Obama on the promise that his life-experience and values would make him a good President. People are supporting Palin for the same resons.

You miss the point. The right chastized Obama for being a minority celebrity with no qualifications, then elected someone who was the same in each of those categories. The difference, nothing about Palin breathes competence or intelligence. And she spouts off god rhetoric whenever possible.

She was an attempt to appease the non-thinking nutjob religious extremist masses, and is an extremely dangerous choice for public office. By comparison, at least Bush wasn't crazy, wasn't a quitter, and had some exposure to legislation on a national scale by being the son of a president. I can only assume by every parallel I've seen, that Palin would be an even worse choice than Bush... and that's saying a lot coming from me, I wouldn't trust Bush to housesit for me over the weekend. Palin would get bored and go home. For christ sakes, the chick went through 4 colleges.

And how is it even possible to defend someone who names their daughter after rowdy roddy PIPER!

YES!!! Most everyone - 90% of those coming out of the typical party primary are hard right or hard - which is why congress is held in such high esteem (lower approval ratings than any president - even Nixon). The broad base of americans can not stomach what either party nominates - and it is getting worse not better.

They hate the group. If you ask them about their guy they are pretty happy. It is easy to attack a faceless enemy.

Of course they are hard or hard right. If the right third of America picked a guy who do you think they would pick, Center ?
