Defending the PG Topic

I'm interested to know if you have a couple of outstanding defenders guarding the other team's PG in a man to man defense, how much can they shut down the other team's scoring and assuming the PG's shot distribution is set for 0 making him strictly a pass/dribble guard?

In other words, if you have a great defender on the PG, how much does it influence everyone else's chance to get high percentage shots. Has anyone ever used this strategy?

I don't think the engine accounts for PG effect in a way that would allow your scenario. I believe the PG is like any other player for the purposes of your scenario. The game sims it possession by possession, not pass by pass.
