Would you consider the following trade scenario to be a BS move and / or go agaist any trade etiquette?

A team is looking to trade a couple good ML players in the hopes of gaining a few prospects, since the team is in a rebuilding mode. The GM of the team sends out offers to two differant teams, hoping that one of the two will get accepted. The same player is offered in each deal.

No

I am pretty sure Roy Halladay is being shopped right now to several teams. First one to accept the Blue jays offer gets him...........

I send out the same deal to multiple teams all the time

i do it all the time - the goal is to get the teams bidding against each other - sometimes it works...

Uh, if YOU send the offer, no one bids against one another. One accepts first, bidding over.

You break my record. Now I break you, like I break your friend.

it doesn't feel good if the second owner would also have accepted, but sometimes you just need to get a deal done. it's not a violation of etiquette, but it would be nice to mention to each team that there are several offers out there.

No I was the guy who offered the player to a couple different teams. The guy who didn't accept in time, feels I screwed him and called me out onleague chat. I was just wondering what others thought about it.
