Sorry. In forum parlance, "accept the RS" means the players takes it without complaint/we loss. That's what I meant.
So sure, you can RS a player and have their we drop to 1 if you think that's advantageous to you. It's generally not going to be. If it's a good senior that's maxed out, you're going to want/need him to be one of the key cogs to your team. If it's a maxed-out senior with crappy ratings, well, I wouldn't really want him around for another season. I'd much rather recruit a freshman who was actually going to be good and RS him.
(Looking at your team, if you're thinking about trying to RS Eiland for next season, I wouldn't bother. He's mostly maxed out, and you can recruit a guy who'll be as good as he is now fairly early in his career, like you already did w. Mace.)
