After he signed Assistant said he wouldn't be suprised if he went JUCO. Didn't get his latest results yet.

they always say that.

It seems like 80% or more stay with the team. I read that the amount of effort is a factor with them staying, but I have had one stay with hardly any effort. That was several changes ago, so I never know what to expect.

Effort, or lack thereof, does not mean an ineligible will or won't show up. But it does help, as does the prestige of the school he signed with. Nothing is a given with Ineligibles and you aren't going to be able to get an answer from anyone because the fact is nobody has the slightest clue.

You can look up any season and find that over 75%-80% stay with the team rather than go JuCo. CS said that effort plays a role.Isn't that the slightest clue? All you can do is play the odds and hope.

No actually you are wrong there is no way to know or even give yourself a significantly better shot. They might they might not. You can be an A+ prestige and win a battle for a player and he can go JuCo.

And how are you finding this 80% stay / go rule? To say you have an 80+ % chance of a JuCo staying is over estimating it.

It is very easy to find out what percentage stay with the team that signs them. See how many ineligibles sign each season, and then see how many are still on that team's roster. Its not that hard and it is 75% to 80% each season since I have tracked it.

I never said that you give yourself a significantly better shot. I just said that CS said effort plays a role and that 75%-80% sign, so please, don't say "actually you are wrong".
