About 3 seasons ago Norm24 told me they had an Idea to fill the Michigan conference in Wooden D-3 along with 3 other conferences.now I must admit that the first 2 seasons where nothing special, I decided to take over the 4th worst school in D-3 history, so I knew I had a uphill climb and still do.
Our first season I thought we did pretty good in OOC games, we went 8-2 and I had my hopes up that maybe we would do okay and then we hid conference play and got our butts whipped night in and out. we finished at 14-13 with a RPI of 90, only reason we did that good was because there where a few sim recruited players who wasnt to bad and they carried us if thats what you want to call it.
Our second season was even worse 3-7 OOC and 5-11 in conference play, didn't have anyone step up, we where around 40-50 overall team ratings below all the other teams.
This season didn't start off much better I forgot to reup my account and by the time I got to it I had to change username and maybe that was lucky for me, we went 9-1 in OOC play and now stand at 16-5 with a RPI of 19 and a SOS of 38.
I feel that If I could do this so could you, I know we still have 1 open team that needs to be rebuilt and I would be willing to take it and give Marain to a coach who doesn't like to rebuild.
If you think your a good HD coach come check out the conference, besides the 1 open school and the zoo that was just taken over this season, all the other 10 schools have a shot at making the NT. its a fun conference, every game is like a NT game, we have a active coaches corner and a lot of great coaches like norm, kreller, Dairy Rat and so many more. if you really want to test yourself all the way in game planning and recruiting then this is the conference for you.
If I CAN TURN AROUND MARIAN I KNOW SOMEONE CAN DO THE SAME WITH THE OTHER EMPTY SCHOOL (Albion) COME TEST YOUR HD SKILL. if you have any questions feel free to contact either me or norm24 or baloochow82. hope to see someone step up and show us how it's done, were are just that school away from being the #1 RPI conference in the division.
