Beware Multiple Tabs -Ticket #84564;Help Topic

I can, and I can say for certain it won't happen to me again, but for something like this where the user didn't actually do anything wrong, where there's no warning anywhere about multiple tabs, where there's no confirmation that was ignored, I'd hope they wouldn't undo the work I've put into making the finances work by not fixing it.

And now, I'm leaving my home in the next 30 min or so and won't be back until after arb hearings are done... any suggestions on what I do with Martin?

I don't want to arb him again in case that means he won't sign LT. Should I just sign him to the deal he should have gotten (the one Duran got instead) and focus the support issue on merely fixing Duran's contract?

No, trade me Martin then since he still has financial flexibility. (In all seriousness, yes. Give Gabby his contract and focus on trying to fix Duran's, keeping in mind they probably won't help out).

I'm sure most of us have posted a note in the wrong world before...have multiple tabs (or windows) open, think you're posting a note in one world, when in reality, the cookie is set for the other world, and you post a note to the wrong place.

I'm sure its the same principle for arbitration.

(Personally, I never understood why they would cookie this information... why not just reference the current information every time you hit "submit" rather than pull it from a cookie that may have been confused? Its not like its any huge overhead vs pulling from a cookie...)

This isn't that case.
Hmm, quite a mystery ... if it wasn't your mistake, whose mistake was it? Miss Scarlet in the library with the candlestick?

I'll go with the developers with the keyboard in the basement.

this is an honest mistake caused by not knowing about the multiple tabs issue (i sympathize because i could have seen myself doing the exact same thing) and not really what HBD means by "user mistakes" which to me are more things like releasing the wrong player. This mistake is borne out of naivity (which alot of us share) and not carelessness.
