I like his CS approach, but this is really the first unique change in a year, not done very well - his only other action was to fix FSS, which he was able to garner an incredible amount of user input to help him get it right.

not exactly a record to be rpoud of, of course, the new engine will be the real test.

gil, with 4 min in per, 8 in bh, 8 in pass, of practice, my player lost 14 pts, in an exhibition game. when I told CS about it, they made 3 excuses for things done wrong - not enough practice time, the prior coach practiced him wrong, and he did not play enough in the exhibition.

I told them their answer was so wrong, it scared me that someone answering tickets could be so misinformed, and referenced the main forum, sebles reponse on the main forum took place about 5 minutes later.

What really is starting to worry me now is it is not fixed, this should be a no-brainer

My starting Sr. C in phelan just lost 3 in BH despite 10 min of practice. Another C (Jr) lost 3 with 5 min of practice in BH.

Goog points, OR. Let me clarify in that I really like seble's readiness to admit and try to solve problems. That is admirable. But I must admit, your worries are also mine. Fingers crossed.

Guys, visit the "Player Improvement - Knight" thread for my updates. This was not an intentional change to anything. I wouldn't do that unannounced. It was a mistake on my part, but in order to fix it we have to get a backup of the data before practices in order to revert it correctly, which takes time.

the good news is with the new engine, it is possible these guys will have everything documented, and code changing will get much easier, I get the impression the code for the current engine is pretty much cobbled together,

I used to program some, I know it was much harder to fix someone else's code than write my own, although if you stay in the same place long enough, you get to hear others grumble about your own cobblestoned work - of course back then, we had to chisel out binary bits with stone tablets and read them thru a 'rock reader' in order to input them into the 'main frame computer'

OR, I think that you are putting that on seble and it really just sounds like a very mis-informed CS rep (go figure?), that said I assume that this isn't quite as easy of a fix as you might assume because I would think they would need to make a copy, restoring the database before practices today and then re-sim the practices and that will take time.

Let's look on the bright side here, seble responded quickly when this thing came up and while he was away over the holidays when the cycle didn't sim. Should these glitches happen, no they shouldn't but he has been very prompt in not only fixing them but making sure to have contact with us.

Z -

I did not say seble, I said CS and they and their and someone answering tickets, I sort of assumed it was not seble, who answered that ticket

but if this weren't a melt down issue, and I was not a fairly astute user, I might have believed that answer and never known the difference, taking the advice given, I would have put what 12 min of per, 24 of bh, and pa to keep them from dropping, that would not be very much fun for a new user would it?

I know you love the guy, and that you have a fair amount of faith in him, my word of choice is 'hope' - both that I 'hope' you are right & I 'hope' he justifies your 'faith' by delievering us a good new game to play.

that made me laugh... not in the good way, but u have to admit that CS response is pretty damn funny.

on the plus side, at least when u responded, seble got involved immediately.
