Prestige equal to a $$ Amount Topic

I'd like WIS to release something like this, and maybe change the way prestige works. For example:

B- to A+= a plus % amount for $, or can be called (free money)
C- to C+=zero effect...this prestige range neither benefits or hurts the school
F to D+=Negative effect....this prestige range hurts schools

It wouldn't only be a flat amount for the plus schools either...they would start with a certain amount given, and then for the amounts that they spent, would help even more. For example, lets say A+=15% bonus to what you spend, while a B+ only gave 7%. So for the A+ school, if they spent 10,000 on a recruit, they'd get 1500 extra money on the recruit, while the B+ school would get $700 extra on the recruit. At the same time a F school could minus 10% of what they spent, so the same school that spent $10000 on the recruit would only have a recruiting effect of $9000.

Just a thought....

What would be the advantage of this way over the current way?

And no way would 15% for an A+ over a C be fair. I mean in a UNC vs. Fordham type battle UNC shouldn't need to expend 50% of the effort of a low end team. Even a 25% gap from A+ to D- would be terrible. Some D- team could pour $75,000 into a top tier recruit and UNC/UCLA would have to spend $55,000 to win? Don't think that sounds fair.

He's new and hasn't even been in DI, so not sure he's thinking along those terms just yet. It doesn't sound like an improvement to me in any way, shape or form, but that's why I asked the question, because maybe I'm missing something.

goldpup, in a way it is that way already,a A prestige team doesn't have to spend as much on a recruit as say a C prestige team, in D-3 and D-2 it's not as noticeable as in D-1 but it is there. the way I showed you how to pull a player down (mandjtesting) lessens this because most coaches I know use the eval system instead of what I showed you.

I'm not saying those are the exact numbers, just that type of style. But i'm just asying its a thought this way there could be C+ teams that are saying, we are building our program around you, we want you to be the name people think of when they think of x school, bring us from a Mid Major to a Major. Who would that kid pick? A school that wants him to be the main man, or a school that barley recruits a kid to be a career backup?
