Also, it's probably important to note that the GB/FB ratio has remained the same since the update. However, the number of TC/G for OFs has dropped about 8% since the update. That's even after some of those HRs turn into chances to make a play.

I'd say that fly balls are just not going as far as they used to go. A ball hit 340 feet may only go 310 now, turning a HR into a double or an out. 150-ft fly balls are now hit 135, resulting in the 3B catching it rather than the LF.

Edit: TC/G for all positions, though, is down 0.5% since the update. Not sure what to make of that, in light of everything else.

SH/G are up 18% and BH/G are up 12% since the update, in support of zbrent's pitcher assist data. If the fielders are getting better at 3B and 1B (thereby taking away chances from pitchers), they are somehow making less plays on bunts than they used to. Or everyone is bunting more.
