Can someone explain how the overall Hitting leader list is compiled? When I select this report, the batting average column is highlighted but the ranking doesn't seem to match. There are players that have a higher BA but are ranked lower than another player who may have a lower BA.

you can sort it by any category you want. scroll over the column header and click, and you'll get a descending order list.

One of the option boxes at the top is Qualified. If you select 'Yes' then you only see players who meet the minimum level of 3.2 Plate Appearances / game necessary to qual for the batting title. Select Qualified = No, and you'll get every player with at least 1 PA.
