Tough call. Player 1 is better, but you can't ignore the fact that the catcher is already pre-arb and his low durability, while also a negative, keeps his overall sufficiently low that he will not likely ever ask for a huge contract and will probably be willing to resign.
Thus, you have what should be a fairly effective player who you could keep on your team for a reasonable price for his entire career. Catcher can be a crapshoot because sometimes there is absolutely nobody available in FA and sometimes a guy like that will be sitting around at the end of free agency with his price dropped to 1.5M.
With that said, all else equal, I'd probably still take the LF. He will OPS over .800 with excellent fielding and his contract is reasonable. It probably comes down to who you can replace more easily though.
