My 5 draft picks were essentially the 5 best players on my White Sox...

With 11 games to go...

1. Felix Hernandez: 13-11, 255 IP, 3.63 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, .235 OAV, 320 K's
No other SP had even 10 wins or an era under 5.00.

2. Ichiro Suzuki: .355 avg, .394 obp, .452 slug, 43 sb
1st in avg, 2nd in obp, no other batter hit over .300

3. Ian Kinsler: .265 avg, .354 obp, .489 slug, 102 R, 30 HRs, 92 RBIs, 49 SBs, 1 CS
Led team in Rs, HRs, RBIs, Slug, SBs. No other player hit 20 HRs

4. Darren O'Day: 47 G, 45 IP, 3.20 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, .212 OAV, 36/41 Sv
Very consistent closer, best pitcher on team

5. Lance Berkman: .284, .417, ..486, 19 HR, 97 BB
Played out of position at RF (Konerko at 1b), but only 6 errors in OF. Led team in obp, bb, ops.

With all these great additions, my White Sox (79-83 in real life) are going to finish with over 90 losses. Currently 65-86.... Sigh.

Right there with you (except Halladay is having a good season)

Zimmerman and Dunn have combined for 81 HRs and 226 RBIs

Greinke and Ohlendorf have combined for 28 wins and S.Burnett has been my best reliever.

Correia was a huge disappointment as my first pick. Duke performed acceptably but was probably an overreach in the 2nd round. LaRoche actually hit better than expected and was solid defensively. Braden was pretty bad. Jones was a big underperformer at the plate but played good D.

1. Kevin Correia: 7-14, 164 IP, 5.70 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, .288 OAV, 8.93 K/9, 2.63 BB/9
RL: 12-11, 198 IP, 3.91 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, .259 OAV, 6.45 K/9, 2.91 BB/9
> big disappointment as a #1 pick.

2. Zach Duke: 8-13, 184 IP, 4.73 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, .286 OAV, 5.90 K/9, 2.34 BB/9
RL: 11-16, 214 IP, 4.06 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, .285 OAV, 4.48 K/9, 2.07 BB/9
> decent performance, but overreach as a second rounder.

3. Andy LaRoche: .273/.347/.379, 10 HR, 67 RBI, .978 FP, led NL with 15 + plays
RL: .258/.330/.401, 12 HR, 64 RBI
> pretty good offense and defense; can't really complain.

4. Dallas Braden: 4-6-4 sv, 126 IP, 4.77 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, .308 OAV, 7.05 K/9, 2.64 BB/9
RL: 136 IP, 3.89 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, .268 OAV, 5.33 K/9, 2.77 BB/9
> big underperformer.

5. Adam Jones: .235/.302/.384, 15 HR, 50 RBI, won NL CF GG
RL: .277/.335/.457, 19 HR, 70 RBI
> bad results at the plate, but good defensively.

So far my picks of Braun, Aardsma, Jones, and Suzuki have panned out especially well. Millwood was a disappointment. My existing Rays have gone great. Zobrist and Garza have outperformed there actual years. Pena has hit 40 homeruns so far.

All of the guys I drafted ended up playing their home games at Coors Field so it's hard to judge their performance based on numbers. Neither of the hitters I drafted, Cameron and McGehee, were every day players, but they got plenty of PAs and put up OPS in the high .800s, which made them slightly above average for the team. Both helped defensively, Cameron by making a bunch of + plays in CF and McGehee by filling in at several positions. Relievers Sean White and especially Trevor Hoffman were solid. First pick Yovani Gallardo sports a gaudy 6.16 ERA, but his W-L is 13-9 and if I hadn't had him his 200 innings would have gone to somebody else who would have posted an ERA approximately double that 6.16.

Mark Reynolds--40/128--258/354/514--23 SB's

Brian Roberts--35 SB's--307/384/464

Bronson Arroyo--(9-10)

John Lannan--(7-16)

Erik Bedard--(3-5)

not much to talk about on the worst team in the league

Joey Votto (2nd Round Pick) - very pleased with him. 25 HR's, .311 BA, .406 OBP and a .526 SLG. He made James Loney's sorry *** ride the pine for most of the season.

Brad Bergeson (3rd Round Pick) - averaged out really well. 11-8 Record with a 1.43 WHIP and 4.68 ERA.

Roy Oswalt (my 1st Round Pick), Nelson Cruz (4th Round Pick) and Luke Gregerson (5th Round Pick) = Three big piles of suck
