Important for press? Topic

So i've always used a zone and know for big men rebounding was important, but im thinking about moving to the press to try something new. I know Ath and SPD are the highest priority for all players, but how important is rebounding? More important than LP?

Basically what i'm getting at is should i put a huge emphasis on ath and spd at the sacrifice of things like reb and lp. example take a 80 ath 40-50's spd bigman with 50's in reb or a 60 ath 30's spd with maybe 70's in reb. Just trying to get an idea with recruiting about to start. Thanks in advance for constructive replies.

It depends are you going for offense or defense? If your going for defense I would trying for more speed down low, maybe even starting a solid SF at PF and a PF at C. If your going for offense I would not worry as much about the press and focus on your normal C/PF traits and just make sure you have a SF, SG, PG that are fast.

By the way Ath is not as important as Speed in press from what I have seen. This is at the D3 level though.

Oh and what I mean for the Off and Def is your team going to be a shutdown team or a light them up team?

I would personally go for SPD, ATH, REB. Try to win the possession battle both on the boards and turnovers. Or at least I think going forward that is the theory I am going to try.
