Average is generally 7 - 20.

Keep in mind that once the base is above eighty. it pretty much HAS to be average or low. and a high above seventy woudl get someone up into the nineties, which if you want the nineties to be special.. . those highs need to be rare.

Top ten PG in overall rating: (THe categories listed first are high potential, the categories in parenthesis are average)

1: Speed, defense, perimeter, passing (Reb)
2: Speed, rebounding, passing (DEF, Blk, LP, BH)
3: Def, BH (PER)
4: Per, BH (ATH, SPD, DE)
5: Def, LP, PER, Pas (Ath, BH)
6: LP, PER, PAS (REB)
7: LP, (ATH, SPD, DEF, BLK, PE, BH)
8: SPD, BH, Pass (Ath)
9: ATH, SPD, DEF, BLK, PER (BH, Pass, LP)
10: SPD, DEF, PER (ATH, Pass)

Also consider that now you might end up considering LP as a core rating One reason that other attributes for PG's are going down is possibly that you added LP as higher? If the overall rating for PG's stayed about the same and the LP became higher on average, those rating points come from somewhere.

a concern i have is that there just aren't that many big men in college that have an inside-outside game. most big guys are 10 ft. and in during college. that's the way it is for a reason and giving them to much per. is a fundamental flaw in the way the game is played at the college level. i think that you have to still have some of those true LP big guys generated (80 LP, 80 REB, 0 PER, 10 BH, 15 PASS). The real low block guy. Is he still going to be part of the game?

If a big guy has so much LP and PER at the college level he'd definitevely be one and done (think Melo).

I haven't had enough time to participate in the beta testing so thanks on the update. This Per issue for big men scares me a little though.

I don't think so. They are different but not bad
im not saying i dont like them, just saying its going to take some adjustment of recruiting expectations for many in d1, higher and lower prestige alike

What I don't see is the elite player freshman player. Ratings have been lowered and they no one with high ratings. Most of the players will still look similar just with lower ratings.

I agree with you namshub. I've seen way too many big men with high perimeter ratings while searching through the recruits.

I following Davidson College. We see many big guys that have 50 lp 60 Per. I think the key is variability, with the emphasis being on big guys that are better at lp than per.

FYI,

Perimeter is now "outside the paint shooting" and lowpost is "inside the paint shooting" basically.

Therefore a 40-50 perimeter is more of an indication he can make a jump shot rather than he can be an effective 3 point shooter.

LP is now part of a guards scoring ability, not all sg's IRL are great per shooters
Brandon Roy is a good example of this. He can knock down 3's but not a highly regarded 3 pt shooter.

You will note that there is still an issue or PGs relative to SGs in PER. We have brought that up to Seble and I think you will see the PER ratings go down overall for PGs.
