Your worlds must have a lot more guys who are great defensively and can hold their weight at the plate at the majors - I'm not seeing them in mine.

Are all of these guys RH?

This is my first season of HD and I'm wondering; if I have a 24 year old, 3rd year Pro, who was at Low A last season and his defensive numbers are 76 67 74 68, should I make him a 3rd baseman?

He would do okay there. It really depends on his bat and what you have other than him. My guy is very similar. He has a better glove, but for the most part he is comparable:

Von Maduro

As you can see. He gets the job done.

Now, I'm trying to acquire player 5, so he isn't a sure thing. Forget about offense; make your opinions based on D alone.

Thoughts with 5 included and without. I'm torn between several layouts.

Thanks!

Unless I missed a significant engine update, I believe the answer to this is still "no".

Does right-handed or -handed matter to the game engine for infielders?

Yes, very much so. Infielders NEED to be RH (except 1B)

Just for clarification, they need to be RH throwers. No problem having a y bat at 2B/SS/3B, provided they are righty fielders (think Eric Chavez).

But, I believe we were informed that it made a difference when dealing with infielders. I was not sure how it affected outfielders.
