Nice to see the Yaz join! ... With a .469 W-L record, the 1970 Cards get 14 twists! ... Some of the twist candidates would include the weak bats of SS Dax Maxwill and 3B Mike Shannon ... Joe Torre could be twisted to his career high season performance of 1971 at 3B, making room for the upstarting Ted Simmons at C (twist to 77?) ... and I can think of at least 10 pitchers that had better seasons than 1970 (all 5 SP's and McCool, Cleveland, Hrabosky, Abernathy, and Norman in BP)! ...
