Are they still starting up new leagues? I would love to be part of a brand new starting league!

They are not.

New worlds are nothing special. You're better off getting into a good established world.

I just hate trying to fix someone elses mistake...fixing my own mistakes makes would be nicer. :)

I've been in new worlds (back when they used to make 'em), and I've joined established worlds, and let me tell you, it's about the same.

They're not your own mistakes (hopefully), they are the random mistakes made at league creation. Rest assured, starting a new team in a new World is *not* starting with a clean slate.

Some of the worst contracts I've ever seen have been those you "inherit" with a start-up team. I usually end up with about $10 million in worthless contracts toiling in AAA for the first two seasons of a new world.

You can be more choosy in established worlds, both in the team you select and the owners you compete against.

agree with assessment of new worlds - and with the lack of owners joining existing worlds (quality leagues sitting for a month or more after rolling) there is no justification to start another world that can not refill after the 1st year

FWIW, all things being equal, everyone would choose a new car over a used car. But you're just as likely to get a lemon.
