Non-Qualifier at D2 GPA Topic

What does a non-qualifier's GPA need to be his 4th year to stay for his 5th? Cause his first season is basically a redshirt so I am just wondering.

I took over a D2 team that has one and he is a non-qualifier.

He doesn't need anything other than to be eligible (2.0 GPA). After he sits out his first season he will play for four more seasons.

Ah okay, I thought he needed a certain GPA to come back for his 5th year or 4th year playing? Must just be D1 then?
