What's the average % of ineligibles going juco after signing in your experience?

I dunno %, but they do usually decide to play. I don't think anyone know for sure but factors seem to be:

Multiple ineligibles increase odds of leaving
Lower quality (prestige?) program increases odds of leaving
Higher quality ineligible more likely to leave.

Hmm. I was under the impression that you COULDN'T sign more than one ineligible, jennings.

I'd also question point 3 since it is also dependent on school prestige. A blue chip ineligible won't likely take a juco year vs sitting for an A school.

westcoast, for what it's worth, I've only had one ineligible not show up out of God knows how many, and that is from a wide range of prestiges and divisions.

I've signed more than one ineligible many times.

Maybe I should clarify my muddy water.

Sucky ineligible / great school = more likely to show

great player / sucky school = more likely to go juco

doomey, your right. I guess it's the balance between player vs. school

Then again, this seems to be one of those areas of HD where the above is just the sum of all our experiences. No one seems to know for sure. Except maybe the next poster who will correct me :)

and there are some who theorize - but cant prove - that how much effort is devoted to them can affect whether they enroll - like if they are just barely convinced to come or are deluged with visits and totally sold.....dont know

I'd guess the going Juco route is around 10%-20% of the ineligibles.

I started having better luck having ineligibles show up on campus when I put the same recruiting effort into them as I would have if they were eligible. It could be coincidence, but I'm about 9 for 10 since I went with that approach.
