Just guessing but I imagine that only a handful of worlds played a full season under this engine. Seems like they'd want more data before re-tweaking. Give owners time to adjust before adjusting the engine again.
They do have their all-world overview stats that are updated on a weekly basis. That's probably what they're going to base their decisions on rather than the results of individual worlds.

But I agree . . . they need to think this out carefully.

I'm assuming that isn't based upon completed seasons. As you know, things change when fatigue/injury/promotions/etc. set in as the seasons wind down.
I think it's all games for all worlds in a given calendar week. With around 160 worlds, it should be a good distribution of worlds in all different portions of the season. I would think that from a 40,000 foot view, it should be a representative overview of data.

Since the numbers don't seem far off from MLB, I hope they give it a few more months before adjusting again. Constant adjustments without giving the owners a chance to adjust to the engine will become a nightmare.

i don't think the goal should be to mirror whatever MLB's stats are at any given time. MLB's numbers have varied dramatically throughout history, because of natural talent cycles, trends in usage (e.g., short relievers), and rule changes, among other factors. forget rule changes, but we should have naturally-occurring cycles as well when it comes to stats without tweaking the engine all the time (or so drastically).

Gee. Who didn't see this coming?

First, the sky is falling and they have to fix their screwup before pieces of the sky kill someone.

So WIS says they are looking into it.

Now they shouldn't change anything until they study carefully.

You guys have all the constancy of the wind.

Dumbass troll.

The same people are still saying the same message they've been saying since this started.

Thanks for your non-productive commentary on this thread. Well done.

That might take 9 or 10 minutes and we all know MikeT wants everyone to know he's a massive jerk and ******* in one, maybe two minutes, tops.

Don't worry, I think the troll is still confused by the sample size discussion from another thread.
