You know one thing that would really help IMHO? Make adjustments in development so that it is waaay more dependent on what happens to them in the minors. If your first round future stud plays on a High A team that goes 23-121, he develops very little. If he plays on a team that goes 112-32, he develops very well, plus give him a true bonus bump for making the playoffs....including an increase in his ceiling. It still won't matter to a handful of owners, but for most, it will make managing the minors a higher priority.

Congrats on your 1,000th post.

I think your suggestion might just encourage some owners to put all their good prospects at one level, then stack the rest of that roster with ringers to try to build minor league super team. You'd see one team at 112-32, and the others would all be 12-132.

Retirements are an owner problem.

I had 2 position players retire in MG and 1 in Coop in my most recent seasons.

I just learned that having retirements is a good thing. Free coaches, sometimes good ones!

I've found 5 pitchers ranging from 50-55 projected... good enough to be in AA.
