Is it possible to redshirt an ineligible player as a SO, JR, SR or SR/5? In other words could the player be on the team for 6 seasons (one ineligible yr sitting, one 5th/sr playing yr, one redshirt yr sitting, and three other playing yrs)? Has anyone done it? Would the SO accept a redshirt if it was part of the recruitment process even after sitting out the ineligible year? Thanks.
