Public World Foxx a disaster? Topic

Foxx sounds bad, but there's definitely some "private" worlds that aren't much better.

Not possible. That would be a clear case of cheating and we all know that WIS deals with cheating in the most severe manner possible.

I'm looking forward to the theme HBD world "Cheaters Ever Prosper" where every owner has 3 teams and can do what he pleases with them.

the owner of the Santa Fe franchise tried to sign up for Puckett. We called out his experience with the team, and he dashed. what a coward

It does have a point actually, if you would have read the last paragraph of my original post.

"Is a world like this REALLY good for HBD? Public worlds are necessary playgrounds, especially for n00bs... but how many potential customers will get turned off by playing in a world where things are so lopsided? "

I'd be curious as to how many 1st-time owners join Foxx, and then abandon HBD altogether because it leaves a bad taste in their mouths. There may be some very quality owners that play in that world (unbeknownst to them what a disaster it is), think "Wow, what a disaster this internet game is", and then leave the website permanently... rather than turn them into a permanent, repeat customer.

I actually think that having this public world may be costing WIS as much money in repeat business as it is making them in new business, or maybe costing them even more.

At what point does a world become SO fubar'd that WIS just shuts it down?

public worlds are no more "playgrounds" than any other worlds.
