in return.. I really dislike my guys' low contact rating; can anybody tell me what that particular rating effects ?? Any opinions on this trade idea would also be most welcome.

You won't be able to make this trade. The player that you are looking at getting in return does not have a year of pro ball yet.

In your league, use the player search function to find a Major league LH batter with similar offensive numbers to your guy's projected ratings. See what his stats are.

While we can't see projected ratings, it looks like your guy is going to be a decent defensive centerfielder who hits RHP pretty well.

Personally, I think contact is about the 4th or 5th most important offensive category, but it depends. There are several different types of effective hitters.
