How do you think a team would do if every position player had 90+ power but the rest of the hitting ratings were below 60? And let's say the pitching staff was pretty good.

6 months ago, not too bad.

right now, horrible.

I dunno, a lineup of all hitters with 59/100/59/59/59 sounds like an offensive beast to me, even with the tweaks. I guess it depends on the quality of the other ratings.

I think it would be an interesting idea to do. You could potentially have hitters 1-8 or 1-9 with 30-40+ homers, but your team average would probably be around the .240 range. I'd be curious if a team like this could make it into the playoffs and maybe have a chance at a world series title.

I thought that's what this thread was about.

It would be Davey Johnson's dream come true.

If you had a lot of 59/100/59/59/59 guys, you'd probably have a decent team BA/OBP, and that would lead to a lot of three-run dingers.

If you had a lot of 37/100/48/48/37 guys, you'd have a lot of guys finishing the season with 35 HRs and 72 RBI, and would probably finish under .500

The better the staff, the better the results.

Oh, and assuming rec-quality D.

If I did it, I'd go with the 59/100/59/59/59 guys.
