Is there any validity to anything an AD says in an email notifying you that a recruit has signed? Examples:

"I hope _______ helps us because he just signed."

"Let me be the first one to say congratulations - oh, wait, that's what I'd say if I were happy. Let me rephrase that - you signed ________?!? Are you insane? The kid's mental."

"I'd heard rumors about __________ being interested in us, guess it was more than a rumor - he just signed."

"Did _______ come out of nowhere or was my trip to Windsor longer than I thought? He just signed."

no I dont believe so.

I swear I hate the did he come out of nowhere email, especially when you've been on the guy from the 1st cycle.

I once signed the #1PG, #5 overall, who was a local kid and our state's Mr. BB. My A.D. said he didn't know much about him. Ridiculous.
