Just look at his transaction history, he dutifully signs a minor league deal every single year. Plus he's been activated and deactivated so many times this year I'm surprised he even knows whether he's still a professional baseball player.

True, but historically, when a guy like this gets demoted from AAA to Low-A, he calls it quits after the season.

I mean, it's one thing to be one step away from Fargo (I'm thinking the AAA team plays in Winnipeg ...), but to play Low-A ball in Pittsfield, Mass.?

Man's got to have some pride. Demand your release and spend a month in the Atlantic League, maybe hook on with some other club's AA or AAA squad.

I agree. 20 years in the minors and never a cup of coffee is an outrage. Someone HAS to give him a call up this year when rosters expand

I'd see to it this guy faced one batter after callups. He'd be HBD's version of Moonlight Graham (kinda sorta). Seeing a 41 year old in AAA with 0 years of ML experience actually made me say "oh my god" outloud.
