How does FG% improve? Topic

Is it based off a combination of IQ, and tempo, and opponet? Other than this, how do you improve your teams FG%.

My team in just mediocure. I have a very strong post player and a SG whos PER rating is like 95 but is shooting 36% I belive. I put my SG 3pt setting to 0 all season. What is up with my team offensive proformance?

I would usually think more shots from post players would improve your FG%. Even with a high per rating, if he's chucking up a bunch of threes, the overall FG% isn't going to look too good. Just a guess.

Also he has pretty low BH for D1 I think. A lot of people said sorta SPD but ATH/PER/BH is important in shooting for guards.
