One small thing I've done is that for players who are mostly defensive specialists (those SS/CFs than can't hit), I don't put DH as a secondary position

I tend to use AI recs at the minor league level, and this keeps the backup SS from getting put in the starting line-up at DH

as everybody said, you wouldn't benefit from this if you did everything manually

I noticed that when I click the recs button for positions sometimes it makes wild suggestions (putting someone's primary at SS that doesn't get close to the league average for two categories). Is that due to a glitch or their original position or what?
