You can't just look at this last season, the previous 4 seasons are all weighted in the prestige. The most recent is weighted heaviest, and then they receive less weight as you go back.

One thing is that season 19 was better than all of your recent ones (NT with a 30 RPI). Season 19 is now receiving less weight than it had in the previous seasons, so that is most likely why your prestige is dropping slightly in each of the past two seasons.

Plus I believe that the difference between 22 wins and 17 wins is worth something, so your season 22 wasn't much better than 21.

Funny to see a CS gaffe there....he/she says that an 86 is a B and that an 84 is a B+...not sure if that's a typo or what have you, but that's very telling if you ask me.

I have only been there 2 seasons so the previous 4 seasons aren't really an issue here. In college basketball wins aren't an issue more than trips to the NT. I had a harder schedule with a much younger team in yr 2. There are teams with 20+ wins every year that don't make the NT and teams with less then 20 that make it. Here is an example with my SHU team. 20 wins PI in year 40 and year 41 17 wins NT (prestige boost) yrs 37-39 all were terrible.

True the previous 4 are a huge difference regardless of if you coached there or not, team prestige is based on the last 4 seaons of the schools history, regardless of ifyou coached there or not.

What is your point here? This is exactly how it should be. Your prestige is improving because the bad seasons are now further behind you.

Thanks, zhawks I was unaware that your prestige is based on the previous 4yrs whether your the coach or not, that's a better response than I got from admin.

hb my point was in resonse to the comment about the difference between 22 wins and 17 wins being a possible explanation. The example showed that my prestige went up in yr41 despite having less than 20 wins after having a 20 win season the year before.
