If a guy is a JUCO, which "home" applies, the JUCO college city or his actual home city that you can't see?

The reason I ask is because I eventually lost out on a recruit to a school that was a grade step ahead of me (C+ to B-), poured over $5K who was a JUCO that wanted to go to a school CLOSE TO HOME and he was 180 miles from me which was closer than the other school that eventually got him, but it turns out when the guy signed with the other school, he was a resident of the state that signed him. I also promised him a starting spot and 15 minutes and judging by the exhibitions, the other guy didn't promise a starting spot...thus I'm rather frustrated. 2 campus visits and about 6 home visits...the guy was a D2 JUCO from the start fwiw.

Player distance preference means very very very little to begin with but in all honesty there really isn't enough info to disect this. The raw $$ amount really means nothing you would need to share both schools spendings, ie # of HV/CVs and promises and so on to get a good answer.

i honestly don't know colonels. i remember seeing the answer, but as close to home means so little, its not something i made a priority to remember. my guess would be his JUCO college city, though.

That's what I was thinking as well...thanks. Just sucks to get screwed though....though I dreamt I would have subpar recruiting and it happened...the bad dreams always seem to come true lol.
