that as soon as your opponent bails, things start going bad? I swear everytime someone leaves in the middle of a game, I lose.

In a live game, anyone that leaves in the middle, and never comes back, should get an automatic loss.

if i insert defensive replacements in the middle of the inning my pitcher gets rocked. every time it seems...

Nice thought, particularly if you have a sour loser leaving the game ... However, sometimes the boss (could be wife, girlfriend, dinner date) comes into the picture and demands your attention ...

Another one is when I pinch hit a pitcher and then leave him in to pitch, seems like an inordinate amount of times he gets knocked around...of course the pitchers I usually ph with aren't very good pitching wise!
