I am adding this cause I have a question now:

I have looked at about 10-15 games, a small sample, but do winning OT teams always hit the last shot to send it to OT? What about Multiple OTs, do they hit a shot each OT to send it to another one before winning?

Just something I noticed and wondered if anyone has looked into this.

STATS:
1 OT+
Team hitting shot to send it to another OT: Win 17 - Lose 6
2 OT+
Team hitting shot to send it to another OT each time: Win 6 - Lose 1

There isn't enough information yet as I just started going through D2 teams by conference looking at the season trying to find OT games, but this is what I have so far.

He hit last second shots in Regulation, OT1, and OT2 to send it to the OT3 where he ends up beating me...

Figured my double team Alston and my more ATH/SPD guys would be able to cover him guess not lol.

Whats the most OTs anyone has seen?

I have had a four OT game before.

I've had a couple of 4 OT games. I remember someone talking about a 6 OT game about a year ago but I can't recall the world or teams involved.

Dang 6 OT would be crazy, just keep scrolling down in Play by Play. One thing that did frustrate me though was him having so many players with 40-50+ Mins and not be that tired out. It was a pretty great game though.

Look at the game the team that won scored last in Reg, OT1, OT2, and OT3 before going onto winning. It happened against me the same way.

I would be interested in seeing if this happens with every OT game and possibly just with every OT game that goes for 2 or more OT periods.

I had a weird 4OT game.

At the end of regulation, the other team hit a '3' to force OT.

They did the same thing, hitting a '3', to force the 2nd and 3rd OTs.

I finally won in the 4th OT
