I just started up and it is an awful lot in the beginning, but we just started the season, we're at game 16, and it sort of slows down, but I constantly try to tweak my team and look at my Minor League teams. I picked a public team. There wasn't one immediately, but after one or two days there was one. The people in the forums were very helpful. They seem to have the best interest of the game in mind.

I'd also strongly recommend that once you pick up your first team and get started that you check out the Mentor thread and hook up with a couple of vets who can give you some one-on-one advice and guidance throughout your first season.

Robinson World rolls in 13 days. I highly advocate it as being as good a Public World as you will find in HBD. Only 3 openings each of the last 2 times it rolled over. Season 14: 1 100-win team (102) and 1 100-loss team (100). With 4 games remaining in Season 15: 1 100-win team (104) and no 100-loss teams (one with 99, second worst 95). Different champs almost every year.

If you're willing to wait, it's a fantastic place to learn. I have 4 teams, and my Robinson club was my first, and I feel like I really lucked out learning in that World.

Only drawback is that the World Chat page is dead as a doornail. Our entire S15 chat (with the regular season ending tomorrow) is 3 1/2 pages of all-business posts like "Willing to trade Joe Johnson for a solid 3B." No banter at all, and very little activity after Spring Training ends.

Active owners who work hard on their teams, with a lively Trade Chat, however.

Would like a league that is fun and active....I'm hands on and like back and forth banter. So maybe?



I would like to get in a league before then if possible though.

My world is rolling soon.. We are just now in the DCS however I've taken a chance with a few new owners in the past some have worked out and some were hell.. However I can ask my world what they think and if they agree on this I have 1 team that's going to be open for sure I can get you in. Let me get back to you.
