>20min Practice in Condtioning? Topic

This is my 1st season in HD and I have a quick ?.

It is recommended that you dont spend more than 20 mins for one practice category before you reach the point of diminishing returns. Does this also apply to practice categories that improve several attributes? For example I should never do more than 20 mins of conditioning even though conditioning improves 5 attributes? Same for Footwork? The rest of the practice categories only improve 1 attribute, so Im not worried about them. Thanks!

I put in 25 quite often. All they're saying is that you may not get the full 1:1 value for your minutes.

Interesting, I typically put in quite a bit less than that.

Weena has it right, even at .9:1, 25 mins beats 20. I don't start out that way with frosh, but I'll put that into a player easily later on.

That depends. No, I wouldn't spend it there if you have somewhere better to spend it wwhich can still improve, but if you don't, its better to get diminished return than no return.

lets take an example - if your guy is at 50 in ATH and SPD and has high potential in both and has maxed out in every other category except not maxed in PER where he is at 98 and has low potential for improvement, it might make sense to put a ton more than 20 into conditioning - even if the returns of the marginal minute diminish they are still always positive until you hit a hard cap
