I suck and need help Topic

I've been playing this game for a little while and finally over the last couple of seasons I thought I had figured a few things out regarding recruiting and game planning. My St. Michaels team is coming of a NT bid and although we lost 2 of our top 3 scorers I thought we had a decent squad returning and maybe we could challenge for a spot in the NT again. However after 11 games we're 3-8 and I guess I was wrong about everything.
Can someone please take a look at my roster and tell me if I'm a bad recruiter, game planer, or both? Thanks.

You are a bad scheduler. That is all, you are like 0-7 vs. RPI top 50 teams. And you are not quite that good, hence the losses.

I predict a 3 game win streak for you.

Bad Scheduler, nah. He should be commended for playing a tough schedule to see how his team fares against tough competition and make adjustments in non conf as he sees fit. The non conference to me is a testing ground to see how certain players step up in big games, He should have a pretty good record in conference so his RPI will be heading north during conference play.

If you go 0-7 you did a bad job scheduling. The point is to get the best wins you can, not to lose every game.

Agree completely with Tmacfan12 and reinsel.

I think Lostmyth said it best.

He wants to play a schedule that when he is goo gives him an RPI of 10 and if he is mediocre gives him an RPI of 40.

Not a schedule that when he is good gives him an RPI of 1 and when he is mediocre gives him and RPI of 100.

I think that is good advice. You can make a tough schedule but take the tough games in moderation so that if your team is underachieving you end up with a 6 - 4 non con. Not a 1 - 9 non con.

Reinsel was correct. He won 3 in a row then lost 3 in a row to the Top 100 RPI, all close games.

Your conference looks pretty solid so I wouldn't worry about getting quality NONCON wins. Play good teams but not GREAT teams and your Conference games will help your SOS and RPI nonetheless.
