SF’s in a triangle Topic

Where do SF's play in a triangle? post or perimeter?

Perferably an outside shooter that can drive, but the short answer is that a perimeter SF is of greater benefit if you are deciding between one of the two.

What about playing an SG in the SF slot in that offense. You might lose some reb. on the defense side, but would the higher passing and perimeter you get from the SG be worth it?

I often play SG's at SF in the triangle. I find passing to be a key part of the triangle and generally speaking my SG's are better passers. Plus, I find it hard to get a SF with great rebounding so I think the trade off is simple.

i think so, you tend to be able to get a better defensive player as well (with better ath/spd).
