will a player who has no interest in any particular school sign with you, at the end of recruiting, He is showing interest in the phone calls i have made, just not enough cash for the visits needed to seal the deal. will he sign in the last cycle or do they ever just not go anywhere

They could just go JuCo if he hasn't signed. I don't see anyone considering you. Did he just sign?

no that is the question he isnt considering anyone, i offered a sholorship, and made some phone calls etc. and the guy is wanting more info and seems interested, but i dont have the cash to offer the visits he needs to get him to committ, I was wondering if he would go juco or not go anywhere rather than take a D1 scholorship from me. ( I know i should know this already if I am in D1 , but I havn't layed in awhile until recently)

I landed a player that way during this recruiting period. All phone calls/letters, besides the scholarship offer. I'm thinking that's the exception though. I sure didn't expect it to work.

did you show up on his interested list or did he just sign?

As I recall he wound up just signing. I was doing like 5 phone calls and 2-3 letters every cycle, after offering the scholarship, and I'm pretty sure one cycle he just up and signed w/o ever showing as considered. Good thing too, since I only had $45 .
