Sorry if it seems that way, I'm just looking at your sophs and don't see much post scoring, perimeter or defense. You do have a soph SG that is doing well due primarily to his speed, but I don't know that I'd expect a great run from them. I'm also concidering that they have the bulk of their potential behind them (close to 60%).
I'm not saying they are complete crap, I'm just saying that I'd rather take my chances in a low D1 rebuild compared to hoping they make a deep run in two years so I could MAYBE bypass that step. Not only would they need a run, you'd likely need at least one other deep run to be qualified for the schools you are looking at for your jump and I'm just not seeing that happening any quicker than the rebuild with the players you currently have. Remember, it's not making the NT that matters, it's winning when you are there. Stack your team against the top 25 RPI and concider if you think your sophs will be at their level in two years, and more importantly whether you can get other guys in to follow that up the following years.
Either scenario you are looking at a minimum 3 years to get to your mid-major. The low D1 rebuild in this scenario is a much more logical/safe bet.
