Now I do have him set to fairly fresh but it seems to me that with 100 stamina a player would play more...

Do you have when game is out of reach, give more time to backups?

You have a lot of blowouts.

no...I sure don't

Do you have your backups set to play more in blowouts? 11 players with double digit minutes, the 12th player with 8 minutes, looks like everyone but the waterboy got playing time. Nice problem to have though!

Sorry, westcoast beat me to it

Sounds reasonable for a guy who plays press and set to fairly fresh.

its reasonable for HD standards... however I think players should be able to play at least 28 mpg with 100 stamina on fairly fresh. Just look at Duke this season. The big 3 barley comes out but they do just fine.

That seems 100% right. You also are missing a good 90% of the equation since you have failed to inform us of tempo and the rest of your teams stamina, so on and so fourth.

But a kid can play over 1/2 the game fresh? That seems pretty impressive to me.

"pretty impressive to me...."

we just have two different viewpoints on what exactly impressive is.....

i would say fairly fresh is the point where fatigue does not effect a players performance. In real life, the amount of time players can play without getting fatigued is much greater then 20 minutes.

Depends on the system. Very few teams in RL play a full court press / fastbreak uptempo offense, and the few that I can think of have the benefit of TV timeouts to get into the 26-28 mpg range.

And in RL, coaches don't have a trigger on fatigue like the game does. I've seen some pretty stud players grabbing their shorts towards the end of games, does that mean they are "getting tired" or "tired"? Can you look at a guy in the second half and say, "he just went to getting tired from fairly fresh, coach should pull him... NOW!"

I don't care who the player is, I don't think they play as fresh at the end of the game as they do at the beginning.

Almost wish, though, that fatigue was set as a percentage of sorts.

"PLayer x can play until he is at 60%, player y plays only when 90% or higher, player Z can go down to 75%. . ."
