My first year and I had a major rebuild at Medaille, Knight. I managed to hand out 8 scholarships but wound up with 2 walk ons. Next year I have 2 seniors leaving. Any suggestions as to where I should focus my draft next year.

I'm in Knight div III coaching Medaille. Looking for suggestions as to where my focus should be when adding players next year. I'm not convinced that the foundation I set is all that good.

Focus on your teams weaknesses. Wait for dropdowns or pull players down. The kids that start on your division 3 screen are rarely the ones you will end up recruiting.

thanx zhawks. I take it this question is premature. I mean it sounds as tho I need to assess at the end of the season.

I would look for a couple guys who can really shoot it. Make sure they have better then 40 speed and 40 perimeter.

Recruiting in the lower levels depends more on what you can reach for after the season then what you can see prior too it.

I'd look for somebody to play SG, SF, C, and PF/C.

For the bigs, I'd focus on Reb first. As it stands, you'll have nobody with 50+ reb next season.

Since you're playing triangle, I'd try to find guys that will help increase team speed and passing in addition to having good core ratings for their positions.

2- centers, and SG. centers need to be with 50 reb+, and 50 lp at least with some athleticism and speed. You can use a sg with a high perimeter upper 40's with some speed and athleticism mainly upper 30's. But a person after my own heart taking over a major rebuild.
